The artist wanted to create a white, neutral based collection that mixed several textures and felt light and airy. The key components include white howlite spikes, hand carved Nepalese bone beads, rattan, raffia and metallic accents. Each piece is lovingly designed and crafted by hand.
The bone beads are handcrafted by artisans in the Nepal countryside using only recycled bone. In Buddhism the use of bone in beads and jewelry is intended to remind us of our mortality, and to live our lives with compassion and happiness, and always in service to others.
