Del Alma Imports was created by Maria Jose Currie. She is a local San Antonio business owner who supplies handcrafted clothing & home decor finds from Mexico.
We admire Maria's dedication to fostering the prosperity of the communities she works with. The jaguar masks are hand carved and painted by artisan Santiago Sanchez in Guerrero. The masks symbolize the sacred Jaguar and its strength. Jaguars were and continue to be respected by indigenous communities in both the Aztec and Mayan traditions all over Mexico.
